A few examples of wild animals are Lion, Cheetah, Rhinoceros, Elephant, Monkey, Gorilla, Giraffe, Tiger, Kangaroo, Hippopotamus, Wolf, Porcupine, Mongoose, Hyena, Bear, Zebra, Panda, Deer etc. A wild animal finds its own food, shelter, water and all its other needs in a specific natural habitat.

Lion

  • The Lion is a large cat. It has a muscular, deep-chested body, short, rounded head, round ears, and a hairy tuft at the end of its tail.
  • A group, or pride, can be up to 30 lions, depending on how much food and water is available .
  • Female lions are the main hunters.
  • A lion's roar can be heard up to 8 kilometers away.
  • Lions scent mark their territory, using their wee, to create a border.
  • Fear of humans is now a key factor that drives lion behavior.
  • Lions have terrific night vision. They are 6 times more sensitive to light that human. 
  • The King of the jungle spends his days in many ways. Primary activities include hunting, eating, protecting territory, mating, establishing pack leadership and caring for the young .
  • Male and female lions have different responsibilities.

Cheetah

  • The cheetah is a large cat native to Africa and central Iran.
  • It is the fastest land animal.
  • The cheetah is a lightly built, spotted cat characterized by a small rounded head, a short snout, black tear-like facial streaks, a deep chest, long thin legs and a long tail.
  • The head is small and more rounded compared to the big cats. 
  • The ears are small, short and rounded,  they are tawny at the base and on the edges and marked with black patches on the back.
  • Cheetahs use their speed to hunt fast and agile prey species, including gazelle, impala, puku and waethogs and can even take down larger ungulates, especially when they hunt in groups.
